His body was sent to Darjeeling District Hospital for post mortem. Medicines for high blood pressure were recovered from his belongings. Doctors state that he could have been suffering from high blood pressure. His medical condition could have been aggravated owing to the high altitude and the immense cold, causing a cardiac failure. Police have contacted the family members of the deceased. His son is scheduled to arrive at Darjeeling on Thursday to take back his body.
